Horseplay: Play characterized by rough physicality, pushing, hitting or silly behaviour.
Property Damage: Destruction or harm to items belonging to the club, hosting clubs, private owners, or corporate owners.
Abusive Language: The use of rude, insulting, or offensive words.
Assault: Physically attacking another person.
Harassment: Behaviour that demeans, humiliates and intimidates a person.
Discrimination: Unjust or prejudicial treatment of people based on factors such as ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
Negligence: Failure to exercise appropriate and ethical care.
Unlawful Distribution: Illegitimate dispersal of goods, often referring to alcohol or drugs.
Fraud: Intentional use of false or misleading information to illegally deprive another person or entity of money, property, or legal rights.
Code of Conduct for Field Use
All persons must:
Ensure that the game is played with discipline and sporting behaviour, not relying solely on match officials to maintain these principles.
Cooperate in upholding the spirit of the Laws of the Game and avoid selecting players guilty of foul play.
Avoid repeated breaches of the Laws of the Game.
Accept and observe the authority and decisions of referees, assistant referees, match officials, and all rugby disciplinary bodies.
Refrain from publishing criticism of how a referee, assistant referee, or rugby disciplinary body handled a match.
Refrain from engaging in conduct, on or off the field, that may impair public confidence in the honest and orderly conduct of a match, tour, tournament, or series.
Promote the reputation of the game and take steps to prevent it from being brought into disrepute.
Avoid committing doping offenses as defined in the regulations.
Refrain from abusing, threatening, or intimidating referees, assistant referees, or other match officials.
Players and coaches shall:
Avoid horseplay during practice or matches.
Not consume or possess alcohol on match days or during practice.
Show respect for the property of the club, stadium, hosting clubs, private owners, or corporate owners.
Refrain from using abusive language or gestures.
Avoid smoking in prohibited areas.
Have zero tolerance for theft and the falsification of records.
Avoid assault, fighting, and the possession or use of drugs/illegal substances.
Refrain from wearing or possessing dangerous weapons.
Avoid sexual abuse or harassment.
Avoid bringing the club’s name in disrepute, sabotage, misuse of property, discrimination, and victimization.
Refrain from disclosing confidential information.
Avoid gross negligence and conducting private business without permission.
Refrain from unlawful distribution of alcohol or drugs.
Avoid offensive behaviour or language.
Have zero tolerance for fraud or attempting to be fraudulent.
Provide valid reasons for absence from practice, match days, and/or meetings.
Ensure supporters, parents/guardians stay off the field.
Guarantee equal opportunities for each player, including game time and attendance of IPT trials.
